Join Karol Harding as she discusses the importance of handwriting during the time of the Nation’s founding and later. Audience members will be encouraged to share their views on whether it is still important to learn cursive. This program is co-sponsored by the Arkansas Valley Chapter of the American Revolution and is part of Revisiting the Founding Era, a three-year national initiative of the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History presented in partnership with the American Library Association and the National Constitution Center, with generous support from the National Endowment for the Humanities. Refreshments will be provided.
